I’ve said for years that there’s no better way to feel rich (no matter what your financial situation actually is) than paying a visit to Gibraltar Trade Center.
Want cheap pets? Gibraltar’s got ‘em.
How about a velvet Elvis? Gibraltar’s got ‘em.
Stolen car audio? Gibraltar, Gibraltar, Gibraltar!
Guns and knives? Welcome home!
Gibraltar is the only place I know of where you can get an illegal pet, an illegal gun, “grey market” electronics, lawn flamingoes, pants, elephant ears, airbrushed “art”, and a tattoo all under the same roof.
So anyway, I was reading on the local news channel’s web site that Jim Bunning has been un-invited from Gibraltar.
Jim Bunning is probably best known as a Hall Of Fame player for the Detroit Tigers, in the 1960′s. But now, he may be better known now (at least, locally) for being a politician from Kentucky who voted against the auto bailout… I mean… “bridge loan”.
The only disturbing thing about this, is that he’s the first person I’ve ever heard of who has been kicked out of Gibraltar. If you want to sell shady and dangerous items from origins unknown, you’re more than welcome. He’s not.
Note to self: Borrow a domestic car, next time I go there.
